A Conceptual Brand

2018 — I collaborated with peers to conceptualize + present a retail concept known as “U N I.” The mission of this retail concept was to create an experience that felt luxury while offering affordable products for the young professional. U N I, named after the prefix uni-, is a universal clothing retailer with a flagship in San Francisco, CA. With several locations, each store reflects the culture of the surrounding community. It is a company for the people, by the people.

“We want to celebrate the power of the individual. This is what inspired us to create something new with a nod to the past, redefining the power suit. Whether power comes in the form of a tailored jacket or vintage overalls, it’s about reclaiming that confidence to be yourself.”

— Vaughan Hazeldine + Haleigh Parker, Founders of U N I

Viva voce means "with living voice" + we wanted to make a statement, giving less so people would ask for more. Our simple bag is sleek with just the U N I logo to keep the focus on the name and the quality which it carries.
